According to the air traffic registration, an Aeroméxico business flight bound for Mexico City was forced to return to the Paris airport due to an emergency on Saturday, January 22. Flight AM004's emergency code 7700 was activated after takeoff from Charles de Gaulle Airport, according to Flightradar records.

According to reports, the Mexican jet would have taken off from the air base before turning around and returning to the Paris airport. The platform, however, stated that the cause for this move was unknown.

RdarBox, another platform that recorded the behavior of the plane bound for CDMX, recorded the emergency of the Aeroméxico Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner plane, which would have returned to the French capital while flying over the United Kingdom.

According to the platform, the Mexican plane suffered mechanical issues in the engine, which shut down unexpectedly during the trip and could not be restarted. So yet, the airline has not made a statement explaining why the flight to Mexico City failed.

They verified the return and emergency landing owing to mechanical issues, according to social media users.
However, they have also denounced that Aeroméxico personnel have not come out to explain the situation and have only reported that the flights to the Mexican capital will be rearranged by January 23.

"Am Listen, could you please assist me? Due to an engine issue, my aircraft from Paris to CDMX had to land again. There is no one from Aeroméxico who can provide information; they simply state that the new trip will depart on January 23 and do not provide directions on how to purchase the new ticket!" made a post on Twitter against the Mexican airline.

It should be noted that this is the Mexican airline's second problem this year, as users reported an attack on an Aeroméxico jet taking off in Culiacán, Sinaloa, in the early days of January.

The arrest of one of the most sought drug traffickers by Mexican and US authorities, Ovidio Guzmán, son of El Chapo Guzmán, triggered a series of criminal activities in Sinaloa's capital and in various entities, the most notable of which were the Cartel's detonations. from Sinaloa to a commercial plane bound for Mexico City.

According to witnesses, uniformed personnel armed with weapons shot point blank at the jet, forcing it to land in an emergency since one of the rounds would have impacted the body of the Embraer 190 aircraft mentioned in flight AM165.

Given these data, the business stated that no passengers were harmed as a result of the attack. It did, however, stop all of the company's flights to Sinaloa and surrounding organizations. The airline said a few days later that operations will resume.

" #AeroméxicoInforma: Given the events that transpired today, the operations scheduled for today from/to Culiacán, Los Mochis and Mazatlán are cancelled. We will provide complimentary insurance coverage so that you may reschedule your vacation. We will keep you updated." Following the incidents, the Mexican firm posted on its Twitter account.
