Today on April 02, 2021 India reported fresh 81,466 cases of COVID-19 among them Maharashtra state reported 47,828 new cases on the same day alone.
The Chief Minister of the state blamed people’s aloofness on corona pandemic and not taking proper precautionary steps.
This is why Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray warned citizens with the possibility of full lockdown of the state if the increasing rate of infection continues.
Pune city administration has already imposed night curfew and closed places of public gatherings.
