A West Police Department spokeswoman stated the public was urged to avoid strolling through the forest. The region around Teltow, Kleinmachnow, and Stahnsdorf is where the animal—likely a lioness—is said to be.

The police claim that they learned about the wild animal from witnesses. They caught the large cat on camera chasing and killing a wild pig.

The origin of the escaping predator south of Berlin is unknown, to the best of our knowledge. A spokeswoman for the local police agency stated on Thursday morning, "We don't know where it originated from. Zoos, animal parks, circuses, and facilities for animal protection were examined.
