According to DHA news, an explosion happened in the morning aboard an oil ship in the Samsun Port region for an unexplained cause.
After the explosion, the tanker caught fire, and black smoke blanketed the area for a brief period. A significant number of firefighters were sent to the scene.
The fire was brought under control and extinguished with the help of the personnel. The fire's origin is being investigated.
