Elon Musk, the company's owner, stated that American musician Kanye West's Twitter account was suspended this morning for breaking the rules against encouraging violence.

The musician, now known as Ye, posted a photo of a Star of David surrounding a swastika to promote his 2024 presidential candidacy. Within hours, the tweet was taken from Twitter.

He also tweeted an ugly photograph of Elon Musk, forcing the president of the birdie's social network to explain that "[West's account] is suspended for encouragement to violence, not an unattractive photograph."

"I did everything I could. Despite this, she broke our rule against encouraging violence once more. The account will be deactivated "Musk continued.

West was suspended only hours after praising Adolf Hitler in an interview published Thursday on the far-right blog Infowars, in which he allegedly rejected the Holocaust and made anti-Semitic remarks.

In that interview, which was webcast on Infowars by broadcaster and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, West appeared with his face completely covered by a ski mask and his hands completely covered by gloves.

"You're not Hitler, you're not a Nazi," Jones said, to which the rapper answered that the dictator has "wonderful qualities." "You can't say out loud that this person (Hitler) who developed the motorways and designed the same microphone that I use as a musician ever accomplished anything nice, and I'm sick of it." "I'm sick of categorizing things."

"All human beings, including Hitler, have worth to contribute to the table," West stated at another point in the conversation.

Later, the singer explained that he is not particularly fond of Hitler, but that he is a "wonderful man" with a "fantastic suit" and a "great architect."

Jones informed him during a commercial break that he had a Hitler obsession, to which the artist answered, "I like Hitler."

He emphasized that "what transpired was not a Holocaust; let us examine the facts." Hitler has a lot of good traits." Furthermore, he denied that the dictator murdered six million Jews, stating that "it is factually untrue."

The rapper stated that he dislikes using the word "evil" in conjunction with Nazis: "I appreciate Jewish people, but I also love Nazis." He also stated that he believes there s a "Jewish mafia."

A more liberated Kanye West, who has never set off all the alarms in recent weeks owing to a spate of racist statements and antisemites, has been the protagonist for years of headlines for his music, his fashion company, or his personal life, as well as for his repeated outbursts.

Because of his words, the musician has lost millions of dollars in contracts with brands, which have discontinued their partnerships with him.

Ye was at former US President Donald Trump's (2017-2021) Mar-a-Lago (Florida) mansion last week with nationalist Nick Fuentes, known for his anti-Semitic sentiments, for a meal that has been denounced by elements of the Republican Party.

Fuentes, in fact, appeared alongside West in the Infowars interview on Thursday.

Jones, a radio host, has amassed a sizable following since the launch of his Infowars website in 1999. Among the conspiracy theories he has advanced is the idea that the 2001 attacks in New York and Washington were orchestrated by the government.
