[Hans Sigl]

Hans Sigl started out in law, but later shifted his focus to English and psychology. However, the Styrian-born man chose not to study law or psychology. Instead, he attended the Tyrolean State Theater in Innsbruck, where he studied acting, singing, and dancing in the classical tradition. He is most known for his role in the home series Der Bergdoktor, although he rose to prominence with the criminal drama SOKO Kitzbühel. The Austrian is also busy performing on stage, either as a theatrical actor or a cabaret performer, in addition to his film and television obligations. However, Hans Sigl also directed a few short films, and we'd like to share the highlights with you.

"I Pledge" (1994)

Berger, a young guy from the military played by Christoph Dostal, finishes his basic training at a modest barracks in eastern Austria. However, Berger wasn't meant to be a soldier since he wants to be a painter instead. But his dad thinks it's simply useless art. Unfortunately, the soldier's love life is also in disarray. In the biopic, Hans Sigl plays a version of himself for the first time on cinema.

"Zodiak - The Horoscope Killer" (2007)

A photograph of Gabriel Fischer-(Alexandra Hellwarth's Neldel) illegitimate daughter Esther and some cryptic writing with a zodiac sign arrived in the mail on his 70th birthday, threatening him with death. In accordance with the letter's instructions, Gabriel expresses interest in introducing Esther to his relatives. And then things take a turn for the worst. Sigl plays the role of Felix Vogler in the riveting miniseries.

"Santa Claus in the House" (2008)

Pastry store co-owner Klaudia Wehmeyer (Christine Neubauer) must appear in court. Their CEO, Roland Müller (Maximilian Krückl), and his con artist pal, Frank Lehmann (Helmut Berger), are accused of stealing one million euros. After the judge announces the decision and Klaudia realizes she is going to prison, she quickly leaves the courtroom. To watch Sigl in the role of Kurt Klett, check out the family movie.

"The Secret of the Königssee" (2008)

Maria Hofer (Yvonne Catterfeld), an employee at a travel agency, is tasked with arranging a vacation to the Königssee. At the motel, she must interact with the proprietor, Max (Hans Sigl), who is acting more erratically. A missing lady from 20 years ago seemed to be keeping him preoccupied. Maria, back in Munich, gets a picture of the missing individual that, eerily enough, seems to be her own face. Here, Sigl demonstrates that he can also carry off the mysterious persona required for psychological thrillers.

"One for all, all in the bucket" (2015)

Sebastian (Heiko Pinkowski), Ingo (Hans Sigl), and Paul (Sebastian Bezzel) had been buddies since they were little. Ingo is having money problems, so he enters the three of them in a TV competition with a large reward. However, the moderator's decision to pit the three competitors against one another was unexpected. In this, Sigl demonstrates his comic chops to great effect.

"Escape through Höllental" (2019)

After the death of his wife, criminal defense attorney Klaus Burg (Hans Sigl) also loses the affection of his 17-year-old daughter, Alina (Leonie Wesselow). They'll likely reconnect after a weekend in the mountains. The father is suspected in Alina's disappearance. Unfortunately, it was revealed that the disappearance was really an abduction. In this gripping TV drama, Sigl plays a worried parent who doesn't hesitate to use deadly force.

"The Enemy of My Enemy" (2022)

Hans Sigl's Klaus Burg and Sofie Eifertinger's Alina Burg hid out in Iceland under aliases. The disguise is uncovered, though, and the father-daughter duo barely avoids being ambushed. In charge of security is the mercenary team owned by billionaire Gabriel Morales (Oliver Mommsen), who, however, expects a reward for his heroic actions. In the follow-up to the suspense film, Sigl also has a starring role as an action hero.
